John David Blankenship

John David Blankenship is a dedicated and results-driven Development Manager at TDK Companies. He works closely with architects, project managers, and investment partners to ensure successful entitlement, design, and delivery of sites on time and within budget. John David is involved in every phase of the development process, including site permitting, entitlement, financial modeling, and the creation of pre-development schedules.

Growing up watching his father build a career in commercial real estate, John David developed a passion for understanding how properties grow and generate returns on investment. He earned a degree in Finance from Middle Tennessee State University, which provided a strong foundation in financial analysis and budgeting. In his role at TDK, John David is responsible for developing construction documents, exploring investment opportunities, preparing financial models, and making recommendations for project improvements.

John David’s approach combines his expertise in financial analysis with a deep understanding of the construction process, enabling him to drive successful projects from inception to completion. He works closely with the company’s asset management team to ensure that new developments align with long-term goals, and that each project meets the expectations of both investors and stakeholders.

When not working, John David enjoys staying active by working out, hunting, and playing golf.
