Ben Parsley

Ben Parsley serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and General Counsel for TDK Companies. Ben initially joined TDK in the spring of 2022 as General Counsel, tasked with managing the legal complexities of the firm’s construction, development, and asset management divisions. Since then, his role has expanded to encompass broader operational leadership across all of TDK’s platforms, where he works closely with senior leadership to drive organizational growth and operational excellence.

As COO, Ben provides strategic direction to ensure the successful execution of TDK’s vision of delivering high-quality multifamily communities. He is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations, from project development and construction to property management and asset optimization. His focus on efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness allows TDK to maintain high standards while delivering value to clients and stakeholders.

In addition to his operational duties, Ben serves as General Counsel for TDK, overseeing all legal matters including corporate governance, risk management, compliance, acquisitions, and dispute resolution. His deep understanding of the legal landscape enables him to provide valuable counsel on complex legal and business issues, ensuring the company’s decisions are aligned with both legal best practices and business objectives.

Prior to joining TDK, Ben was a Partner at Waldron, Fann & Parsley, where he litigated cases throughout the state of Tennessee. He has a broad range of litigation experience, having practiced in state court, all three federal district courts in Tennessee, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.

Ben holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee and a Juris Doctor (JD) from the Nashville School of Law. He and his wife, Maggie, have three children—and are long-time residents of Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
